As a local from Kilnamanagh, I’m delighted to be sharing my knowledge of martial arts/ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the local community.
Some of you may recognise me from running/Owner of Ajfitness Training Studios & Ballymount Mixed Martial Arts, but now we have evolved and moved to where we belong . Over the last year or so, since moving from our previous home of Ballymount Jiu-Jitsu Academy, we have changed our name to Southside Jiu-Jitsu Academy, to accommodate more students from the surrounding areas.
I’ve always been involved in martial arts , since the age of 9, achieving my Black Belt in Kenpo Karate in 1999 under professor John Ward (Ward Kenpo Schools). As I got older I started to experience different martial arts and combat sports , such as kickboxing and boxing, something that I still have a big passion for.
As a student under head coach Professor Jorge Santos, I hope to pass on all the knowledge gained from my professor, and provide the best classes of self defence, jiu jitsu & self confidence to all our kid/ teen students and future students.
